01. Scrotal Hyperthermia: The Thermal Trap

Healthy male reproductive function requires a scrotal environment that is 2°C to 3°C cooler than the body’s core temperature. Traditional synthetic activewear acts as a thermal insulator. During high-intensity training, polyester and nylon trap radiant heat, creating a “micro-greenhouse” that can drive temperatures above the healthy threshold.
